GENERATION #6
Note: the connection between Joseph Ketcham and son Samuel is not proven at this time
but based on other evidence stated below.

06. Samuel Ketcham, [1] presumed son of Joseph and Sarah was born in 1732 in Huntington, Suffolk, New York.  He married Deborah who was born in 1735 in New York.  Samuel died in 1797 in Lansingburgh, New York.  A Samuel is named in the 1785 will of father Joseph Ketcham.

"He was probably the Samuel Ketcham who was taxed in Crum Elbow Precinct, DC from Feb 1759 through June 1760 and who was assessed on real property in Schaghticoke District, Albany Co in March 1779 at 60 pounds.  This is the same area where his brother Abijah lived.  He probably married Deborah –." Source: "The Settlers of Beekman Patent"; VII; page  474

The children of Samuel Ketchum and Deborah include:

1 Sarah Ketchum (December 6, 1764 - March 24, 1835)
Married Thomas Turner (1762-); brother of Asa Turner in generation below.  Sarah is listed as
daughter of Samuel and Deborah in "The Settlers of Beekman Patent."
Their children are covered in detail on the Turner surname page.
2 Isabel Ketchum (See Below)

GENERATION #7
Note: the connection between Samuel Ketchum and daughter Isabel is not proven at this time
but is based on other evidence stated below.

07. Isabel Ketchum, [1] presumed daughter of Samuel and Deborah was born October 9, 1769 in Lansingburgh, New York.  She married Asa Turner on February 14, 1788.  According to researcher Rupert Charles Loucks, Isabel was almost certainly a younger sister of Sarah Ketchum, wife of Asa Turner's brother Thomas.  Sarah was the daughter of Samuel and Deborah Ketchum, who, as of 1790 census time were also Lansingburgh residents.  Sarah is also noted as wife of Thomas Turner in "Turner Family in America." Note that "Settlers of Beekman Patent" does not mention Isabel as a daughter of Samuel.  Isabel died on March 23, 1842 in Stockton, Chautaugua, New York.  See the Turner surname page for their children.

I descend from their daughter Pamelia Turner who married Miles Jones.
